3 Originals at The HIVE GALLERY

I currently have three original works for sale at The Hive Gallery in Los Angeles. The art is for their "PRICE...LESS 4" show, where the work is $250.00 or less. The exhibit runs till Jan. 2nd, 2011. The pieces are approx. 10"x12", framed with glass:

My first time showing there, and if you've never been, I recommend The Hive's cool "art mart"-- a labyrinth of local artists' displays.

Show Them to Their Rooms, Igor!

Art done for the recent  GILLIGAN'S ISLAND  show at the Tonga Hut in North Hollywood-

One of my favorite episodes from Gilligan's Island was called "The Friendly Physician", which had to do with a mad scientist switching the Castaways' brains.
Pictured are Dawn Wells, Tina Louis, Vito Scotti and Mike Mazurki (center, as Igor).
Worth seeing if only to hear Ginger's voice coming out of Igor!

Watercolor, ink, and colored pencil on illustration board.

Figure Drawings 4 Fun- Turkish Delights III

Some sketches from The Gallery Girls' recent drawing salon-- the theme was "Sahara Nights". Wonderful live music provided by LISIMA, a Balkan group that performs Balkan and Gypsy music as well as their own originals and a selection of Middle eastern music. Their singer Lisa is incredible, not to mention my friend Kenny McGill's amazing musicianship...

Oh, and I must mention the BELLY DANCERS- wow
