RENFIELD & FRITZ

Comedian Extraordinaire Dana Gould commissioned yours truly to depict Dwight Frye as Renfield (did he have a first name?) from DRACULA , and Fritz (did he have a second name?) from the original FRANKENSTEIN .
Mr. Gould has come up with a great name for the piece-

"DOUBLE ORDER of FRYES"

  1. What a beautiful piece... and what a cool idea! And as for Renfield's first name, it's hard to say. "R.M. Renfield" is the name given in the original Hamilton Deane 1924 (London) script. Balderston retained it for his 1927 script for the NY production. But no one ever SAID it in the movie, so...?

Love Dana Gould's work, and it's really neat to see this great piece knowing it's a part of his collection.

    You should both be proud!

  2. Hah- thanks very much and also for the info, Mike! I think there should be a contest as to Fritz' last name! Maybe its "Kupperburg"...

  3. Hehe! I like Kupperberg (reminds me of author Paul Kupperberg).

    Lebenheimer?

Or Kreepnick! (which should probably be spelled Kriepnich!)
